Owner Jake Klingbeil Shares How This Family Owned Business All Began

In 1996, I made the big move from Wisconsin to Arizona to pursue a degree in graphic design. After graduating, I started my own small graphics company, specializing in vinyl decal design and installation. My career in the door industry began in 2001 as a shop technician, and through hard work, I climbed the ladder to become a door technician at Lincoln Electric Doors. I later moved on to DH Pace, where I honed my skills for 14 years. In 2019, I joined Stanley Access Technologies as a Service Dispatch Supervisor, managing a team in Arizona and Las Vegas. Unfortunately, COVID-19 resulted in the loss of my position at Stanley, but it gave me the opportunity to start my own company, Broke My Door. Luckily, I married my college best friend, who also owned her own business, making us the perfect team to embark on this new venture.
